springtime in the garden

It has been a bit of an inside experience lately. I feel like a fiddlehead, surprised by an early thaw. Given another opportunity to grow (new bone!), I am doing inner work before stretching out into the world. The hooties and I have been chilling inside, getting ready to unfurl... slowly.

Little by little we are making our way out, stretching those wings, practicing flapping (or hobbling). Stephen has been calling me "gimpy." It makes me laugh.
